My love for art developed my interest for Fashion at a young age. I completed a number of short courses on art and fashion whilst studying at school. I furthered my studies at Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology where I graduated with an Art and Design Higher National Diploma, and received my Bachelors of Honours in Fashion Design at Manchester Metropolitan University. Living in Manchester provided me with many opportunities to learn and grow as a designer. I showcased my collections in Manchester and London, and interned for Julien Macdonald during London Fashion Week in 2014, after which I returned to Malta. In 2015, I showcased a summer collection inspired by Alice in Wonderland and I launched on my online store.
This collection also travelled with me to Sydney, Australia and led me to win best fashion designer in 2016. Here I am now, in 2017 showing my new winter collection for Malta Fashion Week 2017. This collection is inspired by the two-sided characteristics of ballerinas, and my personal passion. The collection reflects the beautiful paradox of elegance, poise, and beauty, with the strength and endurance of the practice. This collection features pastel colours and ribbons with incorporated dark tones to create an edgy but elegant collection.
